Trail #10
The Tuscobia Trail is an old abandoned rail road bed once known as the "Omaha Line" which runs for 74 miles through Barron, Washburn, Sawyer, and Price counties, with the majority of the trail running through Sawyer county, this is the main trail that will link you up to many other local trails covering over 200 miles in the north woods.
Trail #25 North
A.K.A. the Dead Horse Trail can at times be a challenging ride especially to the first time rider. Wet soils and pools of water are not uncommon on this trail. You can access the Dead Horse from the Tuscobia, or to begin your journey by trailer drive to camp Loretta 2.5 miles north on HWY GG turn left on 621 to the entrance of the old ccc camp and the trailhead. This trail go's through the Chequamegon National forest to Clam Lake.
Trail #36
Trail 36 heads south off the Tuscobia, crosses EE and takes you to the Oxbo through the beautiful Flambeau River State Forest and down to Connors lake.
Trail #25 South
Continues through the Flambeau River State Forest south of Connors lake crosses HWY M twice and the on to Hines grade were the trail ends at Fish Landing.
Trail #5
Traveling north off the Tuscobia on North Clover road is your best bet to access trail #5 North Clover Road is a route that connects with #5 at Wolf's Eagle Lodge Resort. From there you can head West by North West through the Chequemegon National Forest to Louis Landing.
